Quality
BE Group Oy Ab is a pioneer developer of quality systems for steel wholesalers. Proof of this is seen in the company-specific approval by TLT (the Finnish association for quality inspection of steel structures); and in an ISO 9002 quality certificate awarded already in 1992.
Today we fulfil the demands according to the new edition SFS-EN ISO 9001:2000, that covers the procurement of steel and aluminium products, sales, warehousing and pre-processing services in the steel service centres in Lahti, Turku and Lapua. BE Group Oy Ab is the first steel service company in Finland to whom this certificate has been awarded to this extent.
Our quality goals emphasize our role as a trustworthy and persevering partner. Our customers trust in our ability to produce first rate service is crucial to us. In our day to day operations quality is the responsibility of our entire staff.

Environment
BE Group Oy Ab’s environmental process, certified in the beginning of 2003, ensures that the company fulfils all requirements of international environmental standard SFS-EN ISO 14001:2004.
Environmental management is now an integrated part of our operations. This means that we set both short and long term goals based on environmental investigations, policy, and the identification and evaluation of various environmental aspects of our work.. These goals are then broken down into local action plans that we asses on a regular basis.
We systematically collect facts and figures relating to our environmental processes to ensure on-going improvement in the management of our environmental actions.
We have now created the foundations for development for our environmental management. Our next challenge is creating measurable, continuous improvements and maintaining positive development within the field of environmental issues.
