BE Group received yesterday evening the Marketing Prize 2007, when the Marketing Association in Malmö (MiM) awarded this price at the Media Evolution Day in Malmö.

- It is of course very pleasant to receive such a prize. We have made a long journey from being a traditional wholesaler to the international service company that we are today. The marketing- and communication achievements have meant a lot to make this visible both internally and externally, said Håkan Jeppsson, President and CEO of BE Group.
The motivation of the jury was:
Through a competent and long-term, and for its business very new thinking marketing work, a traditional steel- and metal trading company has been transformed to a modern service provider.
BE Group has set a good example that profitable marketing not only is a separate activity, but also something that comprises the whole business and touches all functions and every employee in a company.
This Marketing Prize is awarded every year by MiM, aiming at observing, stimulating and inspiring others to new thinking, development and debate within the marketing area. The Prize has been awarded since 1994.
